Yard Maintenance Glastonbury

Yard Maintenance in Glastonbury

Glastonbury is a rural town and locality about 17 km west-south-west of Gympie. It covers a large area — over 70 km² — with a population of around 365, and is best known locally for the community-owned Glastonbury Hall.

Properties out this way are generally bigger and more rural than in town, so most of our work here is about scale: larger mowed areas, long fence lines, overgrown edges and the occasional big clean-up after a wet season. We quote on the property’s actual size and condition, and we bring equipment suited to the job.

What We Can Help With

• Mowing house yards and cleared areas around sheds and driveways
• Whipper snipping fence lines, gateways and drainage lines
• Hedge and shrub trimming close to the house
• Weed control — rural blocks are where council-listed weeds like giant rat’s tail grass and groundsel bush tend to take hold
• Green waste removal and full clean-ups

Making Big Properties Manageable

On a big rural block it is rarely practical to keep everything like a town lawn. We usually agree on zones: the house yard and entrance kept short and neat on a regular basis, and outer areas cut back less often. That keeps the property looking cared for without paying for more than you need.

Rural properties are also where council-listed weeds such as groundsel bush, fireweed and giant rat’s tail grass tend to spread. Spotting and treating them early, before they seed, saves a lot of work later on.
